You need editor access to your Wix website and at least one booking widget created in Barberly. The widget goes on the page through Wix's HTML iframe element.
Copy the widget code#
- Log in to your Barberly account at portal.barberly.com.
- Go to MenuAppsAll Widgets.
- Select the widget you want to use and copy its integration code.
Add the widget in the Wix Editor#
- Open your website in the Wix Editor.
- Click Add (+) in the left sidebar.
- Select Embed, then HTML iframe.
- Click Enter code in the settings panel.
- Paste your Barberly widget code and click Update.
- Resize and position the element on the page.
- Click Publish in the top right corner of the editor.
Check the widget in Wix's mobile editor and adjust its size and position for mobile if needed.
Troubleshooting#
- Widget not displaying
- Make sure your Wix template allows custom HTML and JavaScript.
- Size or position is off
- Resize the HTML iframe element in the Wix Editor.
- Changes do not show in the editor
- Publish the site and check the widget on the live site.
Updating the widget#
Changes you make to the widget in Barberly, such as colors, text or styles, appear on your Wix site automatically. The code stays the same, so there is nothing to change in Wix.
